Bahrain is a popular hill station located in Swat District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 60 km North of Mingora on the bank of Swat river.
The region is famous for its riverside tourist resorts and local handicrafts. Bahrain offers a superb view of gushing river Daral and natural waterfalls.

Government Facilitation:
- Land approximately 200 Kanals will be provided by the Provincial Government on long lease under lease policy 2016.

Tourist Recreation, Sports Facilities, Theme Park at Hund, District Swabi (Indus River on M1 Motorway)
There is potential for setting up tourist resort at Hund, District Swabi (Indus River on M1 Motorway). It is scenic location along the river Indus and ideal for setting up tourism resort.
Project Details:
- Area proposed is approximately 400 Kanals at Hund adjacent to M1 Motorway. The following recreational facilities, sports, entertainments will be part of the scheme.
- Restaurants.
- Day Rooms.
- Lake, Boating and water sports.
- Fishing points.
- Indoor sports facilities.
- Parks.
- Horse Riding.
- Swimming Pool.
- Tennis / Badminton Courts
- Shopping Center.
- Play Area, fun rides.

Cost of the Project is estimated as PKR 593.33 Million.
EIA Study of the project is completed and submitted by TCKP to EPA for approval.

Tourism Resort at Takhtbhai Archaeological Remains
There is potential for setting up a modern International Standard tourism resort at the base of Takhtbhai Archeological Ruins (Buddhist remains). It is famous destination for tourists and establishment of the resort will further add value to the location.
Project Details:
The land approximately 54 Kanals will be made available to the investor on long lease. The following facilities will be part of the scheme.
- Hotel, Restaurant (Chalet type to blend in to the heritage).
- Visual Tour Theater.
- Art Gallery.
- Art and Craft Shops.
- Meditation Center (for Buddhist).
- Hill Climbing.
